Wow! Where have I been? It is just that time of year - weddings every weekend, photo sessions during the week, and all of the craziness in between. And because of it, my blog has suffered. Anna + Mike | Sneak Peek

I am still flooded with emotions from Saturday's wedding. Not only is Anna a dear friend (and Mike now too), but the entire day was just simply beautiful. Everything was relaxed, calm, and simple - just like Anna. Hopefully this image can explain it a little bit better. It gives me chills!

When I was a little girl, me and my sister were always playing pretend. I was always saying, "Pretend I'm an olympic gymnast, a beauty pageant queen, a school teacher, or a college student." We were always in another world, and would spend all day just creating that world to be as real as possible.

When I saw the location that they had chosen for their session, it seemed as if it was ripped right from the pages of a fairy tale! It is a little girl's dream pretend land! I can just imagine all the stories that could be dreamed up. Enjoy!

Sayward + Blake | Engagement

My heart was bursting with love while I watched Blake make Sayward laugh.  And not just any type of laughter.  It was the throw your head back, uncontrollable, stomach tightening type of laughter.  A laughter that was full of comfortable, timeless love.  Blake and Sayward have the type of love that withstands the test of time.  A smile comes to my face every time I think about it.

Blake and Sayward met at college while they were both attending Bowling Green State University so they chose to have their session there.  It was a beautiful summer evening!  I cannot wait to photograph their fall wedding!  Thank you Blake and Sayward for sharing your laughter with me.  

This one makes my heart melt!  I think it is my favorite.

Gilsdorf Family

On the drive home from this family session I realized just how tired I was. Little Mason had me running after him the entire time. He definitely has a lot of energy - much more than I have! But chasing after him was so worth it! I am absolutely in love with these images, so there is a lot to see. Enjoy!
